Our focus is on the provision of integrated solutions for Clients utilising the most advanced products and software available today and therefore, through close and focused management of these projects, the company has earned a reputation of providing quality installations on-time and within budget. Additionally, because of the expertise developed over the years we have now evolved to the point where our company has, in many instances, been transformed from a contracting operation into a specialized solutions provider.

The company’s areas of expertise and strengths include Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Emergency Public Address, Analogue Fire Detection, Gaseous Fire Protection, Access Control, Security and Building Management Systems and can thus match client’s specifications with suitable equipment.

The key employees of the company have many years experience in the South African market and provide the necessary project management, design, engineering and commissioning skills required for stand-alone systems and large, integrated systems. A key policy of the company is not to undertake any project without having the required personnel resources available and access to as-specified equipment.

BBBEE Economic Enterprise (Level 2)

The company has recently achieved BBBEE Compliance, having been graded by The BEE Verification Agency (Pty) Ltd. Our BBBEE Status achieved a Level ‘2’ certification. A copy of our Black Economic Empowerment Verification Certificate is available on request.

Opt-x Project Management (Pty) Ltd., aim to build and develop relationships and an environment that will value and manage diversity in the work place, to this end Opt-x vigorously pursues a program of empowerment of employees by creating opportunities, mechanisms and structures to allow disempowered groups to develop their educational, political, psychological and economical capacities in a sustainable manner. To this end our goal has been to train and monitor those persons with the necessary skills to fill future supervisory and administration functions as and when these positions become vacant.

Service and Support

Of even greater importance is the need for our Clients to reduce the operation costs of the systems deployed. This can be achieved by the selection of ‘best breed’ products and software and the introduction of efficient maintenance procedures that reduce or remove the requirement to travel to the client’s premises to undertake routine repairs or fault finding. In an effort to embrace these objectives, we are in the process of developing a support centre manned with personnel suitably trained to provide telephone support and remote repair capabilities similar to that provided by IT companies.
